Job Description

As the Assistant Casino Operations Shift Manager, you will ensure integrity and compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations relating to this position

Responsibilities

  • Safeguard company assets within the casino operations (Slots & Table Games) department.
  • Manage, direct and supervise all casino operations personnel.
  • Administer the overall casino operations department in accordance with management's

directives and the policies and procedures described in the Internal Control System.

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures that are consistent with IGB rules and regulations.
  • Monitor live gaming and electronic gaming device activities for adherence to casino policies and IGB rules and regulations.
  • Budget and manage casino operations department to maximize revenue and control expenses.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute casino operations reports and financials.
  • Responsible for all gaming equipment including table games, EGDs, and inventory of cards and dice.
  • Performs the EGD hand-paid payout processes as defined in the Internal Control System.
  • Effectively handle customer disputes while maintaining the security of the games and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish patron accounts.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self Exclusion Program
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of all main games such as blackjack, roulette, craps, and poker.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have knowledge of all casino game rules
  • Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations
  • Must have 2+ years of casino operations management required
  • Experience with scheduling and budgeting in a casino environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are required
  • Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Base Pay Range

$60,000 - $67,000

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
