Show Assistant Director - Seasonal

ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a seasonal Show Assistant Director to join our Miami team. They will work directly with the Director, Producer, Stage Management, Talent, and production crew. This role supports the creative and operational execution of seasonal television programming from rehearsal through filming.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Director with rehearsals, blocking, staging, and camera preparation.
• Coordinate with talent, crew, and production departments to keep filming organized and on schedule.
• Communicate cues, schedules, scripts, and production changes.
• Assist with technical and dress rehearsals and production days.
• Track blocking, staging, continuity, and production notes.
• Help troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during rehearsals and filming.
• Support the Director’s creative vision and maintain a professional production environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Producer.

YOU HAVE

• Previous experience in television, film, live production, or performing arts preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable working extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with talent, crew, and production leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing production needs.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
