SV Tech Systems is recruiting for their Client in Minneapolis, MN for a consultant with mainframe COBOL programming experience as well as experience in migration of COBOL applications to .NET

Title		: IBM Mainframe Developer 

Location	: Minneapolis, MN

• Duration	: 2 years

Experience and Skills Required

• •	5-7 years of experience with mainframe COBOL programming experience with intermediate knowledge of IBM mainframe databases both IMS and DB2 and CICS.
• •	5-7 years of experience with JCL, Panvalet and Easytrieve
• •	5-7 years of experience with defining MFS screen layouts and testing with BTS
• •	Advanced skills in reading and understanding technical requirements and technical drawings
• •	Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must
• •	Strong interpersonal skills is a must
• •	Ability to read and understand existing IBM mainframe IMS COBOL and IBM Mainframe DB2 COBOL code and modify to new technical or business requirements
• •	Ability to write clear technical/specification documents
• •	Intermediate understanding of SQL databases and query structure.
• •	Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010+
• •	Experienced in IBM Mainframe RCF (security)
• •	Experience in migration of COBOL applications to .NET (desired)
