Position Overview

Service Team Leader will motivate team members to increase production and continue to develop as agents. Assist with service training and the development of agents.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Motivate team members to increase production and continue to develop as agents.
• Assist in training agents for new and current, products and carriers.
• Provide constructive feedback on the team’s progress
• Provide new strategies to increase production
• Continue to complete the daily responsibilities of a service agent.
• Eligible for team goal-based bonus
• Can be removed from Team Leader title if not adhering to requirements or showing leadership abilities

Additional Requirements

• 2-20 or 20-44
• Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Strong ability to develop and maintain constructive, cooperative, positive, and trusting working relationships with others
• Ability to adapt to a changing competitive environment.
• Experience in handling conflict situations with the utmost professionalism
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative.
• Must display ability to be reliable, responsible, and dependable through consistently fulfilling obligations
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a strong ability to work effectively and independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• 4+ years’ experience with an agency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Reading, writing, typing and computing skills necessary to do the job
• Possesses some degree of creativity and latitude
• Must have interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate –listening, speaking and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Meets set goals
