Are y o u a p eop le -fo cuse d e n g ineerin g l eader w h o wa nts t o hel p sh a pe a gr ow i n g R&D site? We a re looking for an Engineering Manager within software and imaging to our R&D office in Stockholm, where you will lead a team developing the next generation of network video products.

We are now expanding our Stockho lm team and looking for an Engineering Mana ger w i thin so ftware and imaging . You and your team will be part of the Multichannel Products department (MCP), focusing on the development of new network video products.

Who is your future team?

The Multichannel Products department is part of the Extended Video Products organization within R& D, and develops new video products from idea to mass production.

You will lead a team of seven colleagues to start with – and the team will grow – including software engineers and product imaging engineers wor k ing with embedded development and optical solutions for our products . They work in close collaboration with a range of competence areas such as electronics, mechanics, quality assurance, industrial design, production tests, industrialization and regulatory approvals.

Around you in the department you will also find technical leads, project managers and line managers, as well as industrial leads, production test engineers, sourcing engineers and quality engineers. Our goal is to run highly efficient product development projects and deliver high-quality products that strengthen Axis' market-leading position.

What you'll do here as Engineering Manager

You w ill le ad a multi di scipl i nary team wo r king with p r oduct d evelopment ranging all the way from idea, through conceptual design, execution phase, industrialization and finally handover to volume production. As our Stockholm site is still growing, you will not only lead the work – you will help shape how it is done.

• Coll a bora t e with pr od uct mana g ers, proj ect leaders and other internal and external stake hold ers on priorit ies, expectations and requirements
• Engage with the l eadership team to set and e xecute the stra t egic d i rect ion of the departme nt
• Take respon s ibil i ty for the technic al road map and requirements connected with your team’s work related to o p tics, im aging and firmw are dev elopment
• Create clarity for your team in an evolving enviro nment

Who are you?

As a manager at a growing site, you are comfortable when things are not yet fully defined. The role is highl y collaborative, so you communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders ins ide and outside the organization, and you actively contribute to a good team spirit.

We see that you have experience of leading people within product development. You have an engineering degree in relevant field and experience from embedded software , optical engineering , imaging or another relevant technical discipline .

Professional working proficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required for this role.
