Seamstress / Seamster and Garment Cutter

Experienced sewing professional wanted for Estonian clothing brand UMU’s studio

Work tasks: As UMU’s workload grows, we are looking for a skilled sewing professional with garment-cutting skills to join our small team. Your main task will be sewing everyday clothing from start to finish. Each team member makes complete garments independently. This keeps the work varied and gives you the opportunity to see the results of your work and take pride in them.

Your responsibilities will include

• sewing garments independently to a high standard;
• covering for the garment cutter when needed (up to 10% of annual working time);
• working with industrial sewing, overlock and coverstitch machines;
• pressing and finishing garments;
• checking the quality of your own work;
• keeping your equipment and workspace clean and in good order.
