Pastry Cook

We are looking for a reliable, positive, and motivated individual to join our team in this permanent, full-time position. As a member of our baking team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of products and events while continuing to develop your skills through hands-on experience, recipe development, and ongoing learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Prepare and execute decorative cakes and specialty dessert requests for club members and events.
• Assist with banquet production, large events, and catering functions.
• Prepare a variety of baguettes, breads, rolls, and other baked goods.
• Work collaboratively with other culinary team members to ensure quality, consistency, and timely production.
• Participate in recipe development and testing, with opportunities to experiment with new ideas and techniques.
• Assist with monthly inventory and product tracking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with food safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through virtual, in-house, and external training opportunities.
• Support additional baking and culinary needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous baking or culinary experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds without undue strain.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business and event needs.
