We are seeking an exceptional Hotel Manager to join the Executive Committee and lead the day-to-day operation of this iconic hotel.

About the Role

The Hotel Manager serves as the strategic operational leader of the property, acting as the General Manager's key partner and representative in their absence. Responsible for overseeing all major operational functions, including Rooms, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Engineering, Security, Recreation, Retail, and Events, this role ensures seamless delivery across every touchpoint of the guest journey.

As a member of the Executive Committee, you will translate vision into execution, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and commercial performance are consistently achieved at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional execution across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Events, Engineering, Security, Recreation, and other operational disciplines.
  • Champion The Ritz-Carlton service philosophy, creating memorable and personalised guest experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the property's business goals, luxury positioning, and brand standards.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective management of revenue, profit margins, productivity, labour costs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and enhanced guest satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence by coaching and developing Executive Committee members and departmental leaders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with ownership representatives and key stakeholders while safeguarding the hotel's reputation and long-term value.
  • Ensure all operational, quality, safety, and compliance standards are consistently achieved across the property.

The successful candidate will be a sophisticated hospitality leader with a proven track record of managing luxury hotel operations at the highest level.

  • Significant operational leadership experience within internationally recognised luxury hospitality brands.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex hotel operations with multiple departments, diverse teams, and demanding service environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving profitability while maintaining uncompromising luxury standards.

  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
  • A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, supported by substantial senior leadership experience.
