About The Role

Are you an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant & Team Coordinator to join Corporate IT on a one-year maternity cover contract starting 1 December 2026.

The role

You will support Niels Pærregaard, Director, Corporate IT, working closely with colleagues across the department's four teams. The position combines executive support, team coordination, and involvement in departmental and cross-functional projects supporting the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings and affiliated organisations.

This is primarily an on-site position based at the Novo Nordisk Foundation's headquarters in Hellerup.

Your responsibilities will include

Executive support

  • Managing and optimising the Director's calendar and priorities
  • Planning meetings, workshops and business travel
  • Preparing meeting materials, briefing documents and presentations
  • Coordinating stakeholder interactions and ensuring follow-up on actions and commitments
  • Supporting annual processes, budgeting activities and administrative workflows
  • Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Team coordination

  • Planning department meetings, off-sites and team activities
  • Maintaining shared workspaces and collaboration platforms
  • Supporting communication and knowledge sharing across the department
  • Coordinating recruitment processes and onboarding of new colleagues

Projects and continuous improvement

  • Contributing to departmental initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Supporting the implementation of new tools, processes and ways of working
  • Driving selected improvement initiatives and ensuring follow-up on actions and deliverables

About you

We imagine that you have

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, an Executive Assistant, or in a similar role
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, combined with sound judgement and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English
  • A proactive approach and the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 and a genuine interest in digital tools, AI and new technologies

About Corporate IT

Corporate IT delivers secure and reliable IT services, tools and infrastructure that support the operational and strategic objectives of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings and affiliated organisations. The department drives major technology initiatives while safeguarding data and technology platforms across the organisations. You will join a team of 24 engaged colleagues and collaborate with stakeholders across the Foundation, Novo Holdings and affiliated organisations.
