Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Supply Chain activities through in-depth knowledge of the SC processes and related information systems.
  • To support and give guidance to the Supply Chain operational areas including reporting of Key Performance Indicators with a view of year-on-year improvement.
  • To ensure that the international Best Practices defined by Belron SC are effectively implemented in Italy. To contribute making Italian best practices known and appreciated internationally.
  • To suggest possible solutions to the challenges received from the Operations and the market, providing valuable insight and improvement initiatives aiming to improve service and optimize costs
  • To strengthen relationship between Supply Chain and other company departments, creating a collaborative culture
  • To represent Supply Chain within initiatives in the Corporate Social Responsibilities area

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and other IT Systems (WMS, TMS, DP tools, etc.)
  • In-depth understanding of SCM & Logistics processes
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (preferrable)
  • Advanced MS-Office Skills
  • B.Sc. in economics, engineering or similar
  • Experienced in moderation of workshops and training of employees
  • Excellent analytical capability
  • Knowledge in leading teams through change
  • Fluent English skills both written and spoken
  • Ability to work within international/multinational teams
  • Practical experience in Continuous Improvement
