About The Role

The Assistant Consultant - Proposals role is a central and essential member of the Transport & Infrastructure (T&I) portfolio supporting a range of activities across the work winning lifecycle. The role provides administrative assistance to proposal managers and framework managers, monitors and manages client portal communications, and undertaking best practice knowledge management to maintain bid knowledge content sources.

  • Assisting with the planning, development and production of Supplier Questionnaires, Expressions of Interest, Pre-qualification Documents and Proposal submissions
  • Assisting in the compilation of CVs, project sheets, organisation charts, programmes and other supporting information for specific pursuits
  • Helping maintain the Bid Knowledge Library including sourcing content, tracking content updates and measuring improvements
  • Portal coordination- active management of portals/client facing communication channels to progress pursuits, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information; efficient handover
  • Supporting framework management teams to track incoming call offs/task orders and other client communications; collating information to support framework progress and reviews

Requirements

  • Deadline driven with effective time management skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
  • A passion for quality content and continuous improvement with a focus on delivery
  • Market facing approach to document production and communications
  • Accurate and proficient working knowledge in Microsoft office
  • 3 years minimum experience in a work winning role
  • Degree‑level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business, communications or similar).
