Security Engineer

Join AlertMedia as a Security Engineer, where you will partner with engineering teams to design, implement, and improve security controls across our software, application architecture, and AWS infrastructure. • Experience leading technical security or architecture discussions with enterprise customers
• Experience with AWS security services such as: Identity and Access Management, Virtual Private Cloud, Key Management Service, Web Application Firewall, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Macie
• Three or more years of experience in security engineering, information security, compliance, or a related role
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and/or ISO audits
• Experience supporting application security, cloud security, or incident response programs
• Experience participating in customer security reviews and explaining technical concepts to different audiences
• Knowledge of identity and access management, encryption standards, cloud infrastructure, and security tooling
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
• Must have hands-on experience securing AWS environments
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
• Strong analytical, project management, organization, and prioritization skills
