Finance Accountant

Join Wise, a global technology company on a mission to revolutionize the way money is moved and managed. As a Finance Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission and ensuring our accounting function meets regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for month-end activities, SOX compliance, documentation management, process improvement projects, external audit participation, and group-wide consolidated financial statements preparation.

• Participer activement aux activités de fin de mois, en se concentrant principalement sur les accruals des coûts des biens vendus, la comptabilité des investissements et d'autres ajustements liés aux produits.
• Collaborer avec l'équipe des risques et des contrôles pour garantir la conformité aux normes SOX dans son domaine.
• Gérer et maintenir une documentation de haute qualité pour tous les processus et entrées de calcul manuels créés.

**A bit about you:**

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting, financial controlling or audit.
• Good understanding of the core accounting principles.
• Good collaboration skills.
• Advanced data processing skills (expert in Excel is a must, SQL would be an advantage), and the ability to understand complex spreadsheets and create efficient, reliable calculations with built-in controls, easy scaling and updating capabilities. Experience working with large volumes of data.
• Accurate and detail oriented. Enjoy owning your work and taking charge of projects when needed. Keen to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
• Good written and verbal English skills.

**Nice to have**

• US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge.
• You have worked in a multinational environment across different cultures and countries.
• You have worked in regulated environments, Fintech or Financial Services.

## Additional Information

**Salary - 2800 EUR to 3500 EUR gross monthly (+RSU's)**
