Data Engineer

Join Bynder as a Data Engineer and play a crucial role in developing data pipelines and building self-serve data tools for internal stakeholders and customers. You will work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and DevOps Engineers, and see the direct impact of your work on improving the Bynder product and providing insights to internal stakeholders. You will also take a leading role in improving our data architecture, developing and maintaining our data platform infrastructure in the cloud, and supporting the entire Product & Engineering organization in their data needs.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and self-serve data tools for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Take a leading role in the improvement of data architecture by applying Data Mesh principles and implementing best practices.
• Support the entire Product & Engineering organization in their data needs by developing custom ETL pipelines and optimizing data for analysis.
• Experienced fully in AI Native development
• Using industry standard data pipelining tools (Spark, Kafka)
• Minimum of 5+ years of Data Engineering experience and furthermore hands-on experienced in:
• Using infrastructure-as-code solutions (Terraform)
• Designing Data Platforms and taking architectural decisions, leading the way towards better data ecosystems
• Knowledge and experience in Data Mesh
• Using data/task orchestration tools (Airflow)
• Cloud computing-based data cloud solutions (Snowflake)
• Partnering with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists and devops in defining a modern data architecture
• Developing data flows for the processing of data at scale
• Knowledge and experience in Data Governance and Data Lineage best practices
• Working with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, etc.)
