Senior Solution Engineer

Join Global-e, a leading cross-border eCommerce platform, as a Senior Solution Engineer. In this role, you will support our Sales, Project, Product, and R&D teams by conducting technical discussions with online retailers and brands. You will lead technology and integration tracks, provide ongoing education and technical assistance to clients, and act as a technical focal point for integrating clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems integration concepts, excellent communication skills, and previous experience in eCommerce and logistics/operations.

• Lead the technology and integration tracks in meetings with clients, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing customer technical objections and developing strategies to resolve impediments.
• Act as a technical focal point for integrating clients, demonstrating and prototyping integrations in merchant environments.

• Firm understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services) and relational databases (SQL)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver a solution pitch and convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Previous experience in eCommerce and Logistics/Operations environment is a strong advantage
• Experience in close working interactions with distant teams
• 5+ years experience in solution design / integration with direct client interaction, in SaaS-based environment - solutions engineer role preferred
• Established problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to learn and work with varying technological environments (including emerging technologies), methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space
• BA/BS/Master degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• Ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a changing environment
