Product Compliance Team Lead (10 Month FTC)

Join Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, as a Product Compliance Team Lead. In this role, you will lead a team of Regulatory Specialists, manage product compliance approval processes, and provide regulatory expertise for specific markets and projects. You will collaborate with various teams, manage prioritization of approval activities, and create key reports to drive performance improvements. Additionally, you will lead horizon scanning for regulations impacting Diageo products and influence legislation to support optimum outcomes for our brands and reputation.

• Lead a team of Regulatory Specialists, overseeing product compliance issues and ensuring adherence to approval processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess project pipelines, manage prioritization of approval activities, and drive performance improvements.
• Provide regulatory expertise for specific markets and projects, lead horizon scanning for regulations, and influence legislation to support brand outcomes.
• Self-starter with an ability to work independently and with remote and virtual teams
• Technical degree or equivalent qualification (Food Science/Science/Engineering)
• Able to effectively communicate at all levels, both verbal and written, with internal team members, external government agencies and 3rd Party vendors and customers
• Ability to assess complex and ambiguous information and create clear guidance for partners
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proven track record of leading and delivering cross functionally across a regional, international or global environment
