About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised team member to join our Te Anau branch. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing inventory and maintaining stock levels, while also providing support across our Yard & Drive Thru operations.
Key responsibilities include
- Using internal systems and digital tools to accurately track, process, and record daily deliveries
- Managing special orders and ensuring clear, timely communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Receiving and checking incoming stock, investigating discrepancies, and resolving out-of-stock items efficiently
- Processing product returns, repairs, and warranty claims, while following up to ensure successful outcomes
- Delivering outstanding customer service to our trade, business, and homeowner customers, creating a positive experience with every interaction
- Supporting the wider branch team as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- This is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday with rosters Saturdays.
About you
You're a proactive and enthusiastic individual who enjoys learning new skills, asking questions, and finding solutions. You take pride in your work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a supportive team.
Experience in inventory management, stock control, or inwards goods, ideally within a retail, trade, or distribution environment
Strong computer literacy and numerical skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
Excellent attention to detail and a natural ability to solve problems
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to connect with people from a wide range of backgrounds
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative and high-performing team
