About the role

Be product ambassador, promoting Haleon leading brands.

Build relationships with retailers, sub-distributors & super stockists.

Build in-store awareness by leading promotions, launching new products, and educating shoppers

Ensure we present and promote our products in the best way. Helping shoppers make informed choices.

Moreover, as a Territory Sales Executive at Haleon, people would be responsible for ensuring the delivery of our organisational business plan within a specific geography. These business plans include required infrastructure, distributor networks, and distribution points, in-store execution, and sales value delivery across rural markets. In this role, people will help translate Haleon' business strategy in trade, achieving a mutually beneficial strategy with our trade partners.

Role Responsibilities

  • Executing sales plans to achieve defined secondary sales targets in Rural Markets
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders (Sub Db, USRs, Super Stockiest)
  • Providing guidance, support, and training to sales team members (off role) to assist distributor sales teams to penetrate deeper pockets within the assigned area.
  • Creating and maintaining adherence to PJPs
  • Ensure adequate service levels to sub stockiest customers and build business in existing and new outlets.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance and providing regular reports on sales activity and performance on respective team members.
  • Collect and report market intelligence on competitor activities like new launches, product visibility etc.
  • Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
  • Address customer complaints through timely action as per prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Timely reporting to all concerned stakeholders as per prescribed formats.

To succeed in this role, you bring strong pharmaceutical training experience, scientific understanding and field coaching capability. You are comfortable translating brand science into practical learning, facilitating engaging training interventions, influencing stakeholders and helping field teams deliver best-in-class HCP engagement while upholding Haleon standards and ethical responsibilities.

  • Strong understanding of sales training models, coaching frameworks and field capability-building practices.
  • Excellent training, coaching, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence field stakeholders and drive consistent adoption of training standards, tools and processes.
  • Strong product knowledge orientation, with the ability to evaluate competencies, work practices and accreditation standards.
  • Commitment to creating a positive field learning environment that improves engagement, morale and performance.

Basic Qualifications

Any Graduate, Preferred MBA

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years in front line sales in consumer industry. Incumbent must have Rural and Urban Sales Distribution Management experience. It would be preferred if the incumbent is handling similar roles
