Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality manuals.
• Train and educate staff on quality standards and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the plant.
• Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management regarding trends, discrepancies, and areas of concern.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies and assist in inspections and certifications related to food safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the food industry.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ISO 9001, SQF or FSCC22000 or other quality management systems.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
• Certification in Food Safety or Quality Management is a plus.
