About The Role

Lead Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant (CPA Required)1 Key Responsibilities

Architectural & Business Leadership
Lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud modules.
Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams and client finance executives (CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers).
Translate complex US GAAP / IFRS accounting principles into scalable Oracle system configurations (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting rules, intercompany eliminations).
Functional Design & Configuration
Lead business process design, fit-gap analysis, and requirement-gathering workshops.
Configure modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
Design Chart of Accounts (COA) structures, multi-org/multi-currency setups, and secondary ledgers.
Testing, Governance & Reporting
Manage Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
Build functional specs for custom extensions, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and integrations.
Oversee financial data migration strategy and ensure complete reconciliation between legacy systems and Fusion Financials.

Certification Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CA) required .
Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
ERP Experience 8+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years leading Oracle Fusion / ERP Cloud implementations .
Functional Expertise Deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA, and Financial Reporting Web Studio (FRWS) / OTBI.
Accounting Depth Strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, intercompany processing, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
