We are seeking a self-driven, problem-solving individual to join our global Legal Regulatory Operations Team (‘LRO’) as a Legal Regulatory Operations Consultant. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach through balancing independent case work with cross-functional team involvement in a fast-paced environment.You will work within a well-rounded, multi disciplinary & collaborative Team that values humor and teamwork. Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process incoming reports of alleged legal issues or intellectual property rights infringement.
  • Compose rationale documents which will inform management decisions.
  • Work closely with the wider Legal & Public Policy team and serve as the voice to the business on matters related to legal takedown requests.
  • Perform in depth  research and sophisticated data analysis and leverage appropriate tools, resources, and internal and external subject matter experts.
  • Drive efficiency gains by identifying and taking actions on gaps in existing processes.
  • Establish effective cross-functional working relationships across multiple business units and organizational levels.
  • Operate with an appropriate sense of urgency combined with proper judgment and discretion in resolving issues.
  • Attend ongoing industry and/or professional development training, as needed.
  • Ad-hoc project management and project coordination .
  • Utilise AI to gain efficiencies and help scale enforcement operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and education considered in a relevant discipline - Law / Business / Compliance / Finance
  • 3+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas or combination thereof: Compliance, Privacy, Risk Management, Transactional Fraud, Fraud Operations or Legal Support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered as a lawyer in an international jurisdiction (preferably Brazil)
  • Working familiarity with key regulations, for example Digital Services Act, DMCA
  • Interest in Data Protection / Privacy / CIPP/E certified
  • In-depth knowledge of or interest in the internet and social media and the technologies that support them
  • Self-motivated, team player, with the ability to participate in ad hoc projects
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills using a variety of communication channels
  • Fluency or working knowledge in a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian) would be a bonus
