OFCI Manager | Houston, TX

Responsibilities As an OFCI Manager , you’ll oversee owner-furnished equipment from ordering through site delivery, installation, and final testing. HazTek is seeking an experienced OFCI Manager in Houston, TX to manage critical equipment lifecycles on a large-scale construction project. This role is essential in coordinating vendors, tracking equipment deliveries, avoiding site delays, and ensuring all gear is ready for startup and handover. Defines equipment requirements and manages vendor delivery timelines Coordinates equipment shipments, site receiving, storage, and contractor handoffs Tracks vendor startup support, controls integration, and integrated systems testing (Levels 2–5) Identifies supply chain risks early and works with site teams to prevent installation delays Maintains complete equipment logs, including serial numbers, warranties, and spare parts Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in construction equipment management or project engineering required Direct experience managing Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment packages Experience working on data center builds or large commercial/industrial projects preferred Strong understanding of vendor startup processes, BMS/controls integration, and system testing Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Proficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability Travel | Relocation Local Only - No travel, per diem or relocation is offered for this opportunity
