Prepared Foods Team Member I [Part Time]

The purpose of the Prepared Foods Team Member I is to assist leaders in the Prepared Foods Department in creating a great customer experience through food production, stocking, customer services and store maintenance. To ensure a clean, growing, and well-maintained department with exceptional quality. Assist in production, pack out and providing an irresistible store experience for customers.

Essential Responsibilities and Functions

• Follow food recipes as written
• Ensure prepared foods meet recipe standards of quality, consistency, look and taste
• Pack-out, label and stock product to standard
• Ensure all food stations are clean, stocked, full fresh and delicious at all times
• Participate in periodic department inventories
• Package, weigh, and price product

Physical Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for long lengths of time, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and climb stairs or ladders throughout the work day
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with customers and co-workers

Qualifications

• Familiarity with natural foods, vegan and vegetarian cuisine as well as organic vs commercial growing practices
• Available to work weekends, holidays, mornings and nights
• Regular, predicable attendance
• Projects an outgoing, friendly personality
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions

Skills

• Ability to read and follow a recipe
• Ability to Operate kitchen equipment (i.e. mixers, commercial ovens, dishwasher)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills

Preferred Experience

Min. 1 year kitchen experience preferred
