About The Role
Hi there đ â Iâm Dr. Grace Hunter, and I have the privilege of leading the clinical team at Sana. Weâre looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join our virtual team for six months, primarily to provide parental leave coverage, with the potential for the role to transition into a longer-term, full-time position.
If youâre energized by delivering excellent care and thinking creatively about how healthcare can be simpler, better, and more human, Iâd love for you to consider joining us.
Sanaâs vision is to make healthcare easy.
Healthcare in the US is unnecessarily hard, for both patients and clinicians. At Sana, weâre building something different: a primary care experience that feels effortless, accessible, and personal, without sacrificing quality. As an Advanced Practice Provider on our virtual care team, youâll play a critical role in delivering mostly asynchronous primary care to our members. Youâll care for adult patients across preventive care, chronic disease management, and common acute concerns. And youâll help redefine how care can be deliveredâthoughtfully, efficiently, and with patients truly at the center.
Weâre looking for clinicians who are not only strong in primary care, but also deeply curious, adaptable, and excited about the potential of technology and innovation to reshape healthcare delivery. This is a role for collaborative, low-ego team players who want to care for patients and help build a better system.
What you will do
-
Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered primary care across asynchronous and synchronous modalities, using strong clinical judgment to triage, manage, and refer patients appropriately.
-
Build strong, longitudinal patient relationships that drive sustained engagement and high patient satisfaction.
-
Manage a fast-paced caseload of at least 20 asynchronous cases per day while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
-
Communicate with clarity and empathy while adhering to and strengthening team communication norms.
-
Quickly master Sanaâs clinical platforms, AI-assisted workflows, and tools , independently troubleshooting issues and optimizing workflows.
-
Proactively contribute to clinical protocols, workflows, or operations that enhance patient experience, quality, or efficiency.
-
Collaborate across clinical, product, and operations teams with humility, a low-ego mindset, and a commitment to shared success.
-
Use data and clinical insight to support proactive panel management, close care gaps, and improve outcomes as Sanaâs population health capabilities evolve.
