Tiffee Companies is a growth oriented remodeling company with operations in Oregon, Washington and California. We are looking for a driven individual to work with our customers to provide financing solutions for their home improvement projects. The customer interaction is primarily accomplished over the phone and by email. There is no cold calling required in this position as you will work directly with our Sales Team who has already gathered the credit application. We are partnered with several lenders and our Finance Managers work with them to place our customers in the best loan for their project.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Working with customers to process applications and get finance documents completed and signedPartnering with lenders and proactively working to find approval solutionsAssist customers in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronicallyCollate, analyze, and evaluate information & documentation in support of loan applicationsWork with Accounting and backend partners to ensure financing is secured at project completionAssist in obtaining signed completion certificates where necessary to close out financing on projectsCalculate finance approval statistics and provide reportingCorrespond with customers and team members to resolve questions regarding application informationProvide information on consumer loan products that best meet the member’s individual needs and circumstances.Maintain and grow relationships with banking partnersExpectations:Provide exceptional customer service to our membersAbide by all applicable policies, procedures, and regulationsWork proactively to build relationships necessary to meet set goals for the positionEffectively assist customers through the loan application and approval process, educating them about loan issues as neededEffectively prepare loan documentation for processing, ensuring it is complete and accurateAssist in managing risk through diligence in the information gathering processProvide timely, service-oriented feedback to applicants regarding the status of their loansMaintain a strong working relationship with our internal and external partnersTiffee Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilites
- Application Processing: Work with customers to complete and sign finance documents and loan applications.
- Lender Partnership: Partner with lenders to proactively find approval solutions for customers.
- Documentation Review: Collate, analyze, and evaluate documentation in support of loan applications.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Work with Accounting and backend partners to secure financing through project completion.
- Reporting: Calculate finance approval statistics and provide reporting.
- Relationship Management: Correspond with customers and banking partners to resolve questions and maintain strong relationships.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years in consumer lending, loan processing, or a related customer-facing financial role.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with consumer credit, loan products, and underwriting basics.
- Customer Focus: Committed to exceptional, service-oriented communication throughout the financing process — from application to approval.
- Attention to Detail: Skilled at preparing accurate, compliant loan documentation and managing risk through diligent information gathering.
- Process Knowledge: Able to guide customers through the loan process while adhering to all applicable policies and regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Computer & Office Work: Ability to work at a computer and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, email, and virtual platforms.
- Mobility & Dexterity: Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, move throughout the office, and operate standard office equipment.
- Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift and move office materials up to 15 pounds.
