Fire Sprinkler Fitter

We are hiring an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter for commercial and warehouse projects in the Fontana, CA area . This role is best suited for someone with strong hands-on installation experience who can work independently from plans with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and run overhead steel fire sprinkler piping
• Install mains, branch lines, risers, drops, and sprinkler heads
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, fit, hang, and secure steel pipe
• Install hangers, supports, seismic bracing, and structural bracing
• Read and interpret sprinkler blueprints, shop drawings, and layouts
• Make field adjustments when site conditions differ from plans
• Coordinate sprinkler piping with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other trades
• Work safely from scissor lifts and boom lifts at heights up to 30–36 feet
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• 5–6 years of hands-on fire sprinkler fitting/install experience
• Strong commercial or warehouse sprinkler installation background
• Experience working with steel fire sprinkler pipe
• Must be able to work independently from blueprints without constant supervision
• Experience with sprinkler heads, mains, branch lines, hangers, and seismic bracing
• Comfortable working at heights and operating lifts
• Must have basic fitter tools and PPE
• Reliable transportation to the Fontana area
• Strong attendance, reliability, and safety awareness
