Head of Market Development and Performance

About The Role
- Own the sales performance and long-term development of assigned importer markets, driving sustainable volume growth, market competitiveness and achievement of agreed commercial targets across all revenue streams
- Serve as a trusted business partner to importer CEOs and leadership teams, providing strategic guidance, constructive challenge and hands-on support to strengthen organisational effectiveness, sales funnel excellence and business performance
- Drive operational business performance through KPI-based steering and fact-based decision making, identifying performance gaps, growth opportunities and business risks whilst translating insights into impactful actions and measurable results
- Develop and execute market-specific growth strategies, business plans and performance improvement initiatives to strengthen competitiveness, unlock market potential and achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Act as the central interface between Porsche Asia Pacific and assigned markets, mobilising cross-functional teamwork and ensuring the successful execution of regional priorities, strategic initiatives and best practices
- Anticipate market, competitive and industry developments, leveraging market intelligence to shape strategic recommendations, strengthen future readiness and support sustainable business growth
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales, business planning, commercial management, market development, key account management ideally within the automotive, luxury, premium consumer or related industries
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record of driving sales performance, unlocking growth opportunities and delivering sustainable business results
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into clear priorities, actionable strategies and measurable outcomes
- Proven track record of building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions in complex, international, and multicultural environments. Experience in driving the professionalisation of dealer organisations would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive execution across organisational, functional and cultural boundaries
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with audiences ranging from operational teams to senior executives
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership and a proven ability to drive change
