Job Description

Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation. Education:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Preferred: Previous patient sitter experience

Skills

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to communicate and work with a wide variety of staff, patients and families
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Flexibility and ability to remain alert to safety issues
