About The Role

Developer Community & Experiences Lead

We are seeking a strategic, developer-centered leader to build and grow a year-round community and engagement strategy that accelerates adoption of AI and developer tools.

This role will shape experiences that help developers discover new capabilities, build practical confidence, connect with peers, and continue using tools long after an event ends. You will lead a portfolio of developer conferences, events, and engagement programs—from large-scale conferences to smaller, targeted experiences—along with bootcamps, hands-on labs, hackathons, competitions, demos, office hours, and recognition initiatives.

You will partner closely with product, engineering, learning, and content teams to ensure every experience is purposeful, inclusive, and tied to meaningful adoption outcomes. You will also establish feedback loops that bring the developer voice into our knowledge platform, learning content, and developer-tool strategy.

The ideal candidate combines strong program and experience design instincts with community-building skills, stakeholder leadership, and a deep empathy for how developers learn and engage. Success will be measured not simply by attendance, but by participation quality, repeat engagement, skill growth, community advocacy, and sustained tool adoption.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the strategic experience model for internal developer conferences across major, medium, and smaller events.
  • Design an integrated portfolio of developer-engagement programs, including bootcamps, labs, hackathons, competitions, demos, office hours, and recognition initiatives.
  • Curate event themes, audiences, speakers, and learning experiences so programs directly support adoption priorities.
  • Build ongoing developer-community feedback loops and translate insights into improvements for DevHub, learning content, and developer tools.
  • Create reusable playbooks, standards, and measurement practices that enable consistent, high-quality experiences at scale.
  • Develop and publish materials to promote events and developer tools.
  • Measure engagement quality, skill progression, post-event tool activation, repeat participation, and community advocacy—not attendance alone.
