We are now looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated night nursing team and play a vital role in providing exceptional inpatient care to our patients.

Located on the edge of the beautiful Lake District, our specialist-led referral hospital offers advanced surgical services including Orthopaedics, Spinal Surgery, and Soft Tissue Surgery. The Role

We are currently recruiting for a talented Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to support our patients overnight, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and comfort outside of normal working hours.

This role would suit an individual who thrives on providing dedicated one-to-one patient care and enjoys the unique rewards of overnight nursing. You will be responsible for monitoring and caring for post-operative and hospitalised patients, administering treatments, recognising changes in patient status, and ensuring every patient receives the comfort, attention, and reassurance they need.

Our night nurses play an essential role in patient recovery, providing expert clinical care alongside plenty of TLC to make their stay with us as stress-free as possible.

About You

We are looking for someone who

  • Is a registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
  • Has at least one year's post-qualification experience.
  • Has a passion for inpatient and ward-based nursing.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and patient observation skills.
  • Is compassionate, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Enjoys working independently while remaining part of a wider supportive team.

  • Previous referral experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.

Salary Value:£35,000 per annum;

Salary Description:Salary FTE, will be pro rata to reflect part time hours;
