Office Assistant, Mount Sinai at Home- Part Time Days

Responsible for supporting the Mount Sinai at Home team in the office. Tasks associated with non clinical patient telephone calls, coordination of DME, equipment, vendor needs, tracking ongoing care activities, supply inventory.

A. Operational Duties

• Supports the care delivery teams in the administrative office for a variety of non clinical tasks such as

coordination of ordered tasks, DME tracking, inventory, deliveries to office

• Communicate with patients, families and MSaH and hospital staff to coordinate as necessary
• Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to internal and external customers
• Data entry required inputting patient information into vendor platforms
• Organization skills required to track multiple orders and ensure deliveries
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned or perform other duties when necessary

• Ability to multi task
• Excellent communication skills via phone, communicating with professionalism, friendliness and an ability

to articulate care tasks

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting such as unit secretary, clinical operations, front office.

Preferred

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare
• Associate’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
• Bilingual (specifically fluent in Spanish)

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $19.02 - $28.53 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
