Senior Project Manager (O2C)

Join <Booking.com> as a Senior Project Manager (O2C) and lead high complexity strategic initiatives for Finance. You will work with various teams within Finance, FinTech, the Accommodations Business Unit, and other business units to support and facilitate their work with centralized functions. You will be responsible for the success of the projects you lead, including requirements gathering, getting buy-in from senior-level stakeholders, end-to-end planning, risk and dependency management, and constant alignment with the goals of Booking and the Finance department. Additionally, you will carry portfolio management responsibilities for the O2C team and support the Program Management function.

• Lead and manage end-to-end project management for high complexity strategic initiatives within the Finance department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Facilitate collaboration between various teams, including Finance, FinTech, and the Accommodations Business Unit, to support and proactively facilitate project work.
• Support the Program Management function to build and run a Program & Portfolio Management structure for the Order to Cash team, ensuring consistent management of projects.
• They have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, They have solid experience assessing business needs, developing the implementation strategy and leading end-to-end activities for their respective projects
• Senior Project Managers possess a strong project management background
• Years of relevant Job Knowledge : 5-8 years
• They are challenged to learn & adapt to new tools & technologies as a part of being a champion of change
• With limited supervision, ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making
• PMP or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is preferred
• Familiar with change management approaches; good understanding of the change curve and process
• Strong Project Management Experience. Preferably having a background in Agile Project Management
• Experience with Jira & Confluence is preferred
• Be able to lead, motivate, and manage stakeholders and project teams to achieve organizational goals. They also should be able to influence and steer senior management and groups. Challenge assumptions and ability to adapt or generate imaginative and innovative ideas
• Communication of the project insights and recommendations across all stakeholders
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships (both within a team and with wider stakeholders. Ability to work effectively and influence up to Senior Managers and DIrector Level
• Highly organized and structured and make sure all processes run smoothly and in a reliable manner
• Sr Project Managers make sure the project's outcomes are in line with customer needs and/or expectations
• Ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. They are able to break up a complex problem into actionable and easy to understand solutions. They are hands on and drive solutions to problems in partnership with the involved parties
• Flexibility and the ability to function well within ambiguity and in a constantly changing environment
