Senior AI Engineer — Knowledge & AI Infrastructure

• Design, develop and operate core AI capabilities within Kinsworth, including reasoning, knowledge and decision systems.
• Build and improve reasoning, knowledge and decision systems, combining language models with structured data and computational methods.
• Assess emerging research and technologies, applying them where they deliver measurable value, and work closely with engineers and product colleagues to shape technical direction.

## Requirements

• Strong experience delivering production AI/ML systems, supported by excellent software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with typed application languages such as TypeScript.
• Practical experience with modern ML and LLM systems, including structured outputs, retrieval, tool use and evaluation.
• Strong understanding of experimental design, model limitations and systematic error analysis.
• Experience building and operating cloud services, including testing, observability and AI/ML operations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical approaches and reliable implementations.
• Clear communication, collaborative judgement and end-to-end ownership.
• Strong experience with data pipelines, transformation, quality and production data architecture.
• Experience with knowledge representation, entity resolution, retrieval or graph-based systems.
• Practical experience with document understanding and extracting structured information from unstructured data.
• Experience building reliable AI workflows with provenance, versioning and reproducibility.
