AI & Operations Working Student

Join our Engineering team as a Working Student – AI & Operations. In this role, you will bridge the gap between operational teams and technical implementation, translating operational needs into AI solutions. You will design and refine AI workflows, build lightweight integrations, evaluate and document performance, and collaborate with various teams. This position offers training and development opportunities, flexible and hybrid working, and a home working allowance.

• Act as the bridge between business workflows and technical implementation by translating operational needs into clear specifications for AI solutions.
• Apply prompt engineering and modern AI techniques to design, test, and improve AI agent capabilities continuously.
• Create simple automations and connections that link the AI agent with the core data and tools our operational teams use daily.
• Currently enrolled as a student in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) to build lightweight scripts or automations
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down real-world processes into clear, logical steps
• Fluent in German
• Practical interest and hands-on experimentation with large language models, AI tools, and prompt engineering
• High curiosity, initiative, and an eagerness to learn, iterate, and experiment quickly
• Clear communication skills with the confidence to talk to non-technical stakeholders and translate their feedback into requirements
• Interest in process improvement, business operations, digital health, or healthcare environments
• Familiarity with AI/agent frameworks or platforms (such as OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar tools)
