About The Role
Join our team as a Senior Accountant in the Mergers & Acquisitions department. In this role, you will be responsible for technical accounting analysis, financial pre-close integration, and post-close integration related to the company's acquisition strategy. You will collaborate with various departments, perform technical accounting research, support purchase price allocations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will participate in financial accounting prep meetings, assist in evaluating historical financial statements, and provide accounting input into deal structuring discussions. - Participer à l'analyse comptable technique, à l'intégration financière avant et après la clôture des acquisitions.
- Effectuer des recherches comptables techniques et préparer la documentation relative aux combinaisons d'entreprises, aux acquisitions d'actifs, aux transactions en capital.
- Assurer la conformité aux normes comptables US GAAP, IFRS et autres normes comptables locales, ainsi qu'aux règles de la SEC.
- The ideal candidate should have technical accounting capabilities—especially in business combinations, stock compensation, equity arrangements, foreign currency, and statutory reporting—along with solid project-management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- CPA/CA (or equivalent) required
- Strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP and International standards (IFRS and other local), particularly Business Combinations, Stock Compensation, Foreign Currency, Consolidation, and international tax issues
- Experience with ERP or system integrations
- Prior involvement in post-merger integration activities
- Experience in a multinational environment and with multi-currency entities
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence, interact, and partner with cross-functional and remote teams, both internally and externally
- Hands-on experience with business combinations, due diligence, and purchase accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Exposure to SEC reporting requirements (if applicable)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) or technical accounting experience
