Quality Engineer

Join our team as a Quality Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality through the development and execution of exploratory tests. You will be responsible for designing and implementing manual tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics. This role is essential to our product development process, as you will conduct manual tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets company needs. You will also collaborate with your team, estimate and prioritize testing activities, and liaise with internal and external teams.

• Develop and execute exploratory tests to ensure product quality, including designing and implementing manual tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure stability, basic functionality, and that the product meets the needs of the company, while also identifying high-risk changes before they are integrated into the main version.
• Some experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Some knowledge of API testing and tools and non-functional testing (performance/stress testing/load)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
• 2+ years experience in software QA or in an IT related field
• Some experience with automated testing strategies
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD
