Communications Manager

Join Reality Defender, a leading company in the fight against deepfakes and AI-generated fraud. As a Communications Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day public relations, media outreach, and managing press relationships. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to build media relationships in tech and cybersecurity while gaining exposure to the full communications function.

• Gérer les relations avec les médias au quotidien, y compris la rédaction et la distribution de communiqués de presse, de documents d'information et d'autres matériaux de presse.
• Établir et maintenir des relations avec les journalistes, les éditeurs et les freelances, en suivant les tendances et les couvertures pour garder les contacts ciblés et opportuns.
• Collaborer avec les équipes Marketing et Produit pour rester informé des nouvelles de l'entreprise, des lancements de produits et des jalons dignes d'être présentés aux médias.

• Organized and responsive, comfortable managing multiple press conversations, projects, and deadlines at once
• Existing relationships with, or a clear track record of building relationships with, journalists and editors (you know how to pitch a story and get a reporter to call back)
• A collaborative teammate who works well across Marketing, Product, and leadership
• Calm under pressure and able to think on your feet when a reporter reaches out unexpectedly
• Curious and eager to learn the technical details behind what you're pitching and communicating
• A strong, clear writer who can turn technical detail into a pitch a busy reporter will actually read, and adapt tone across different formats and audiences
• 3+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations, ideally in tech, cybersecurity, or another fast-moving industry (agency or in-house experience both welcome)
