Senior Data Engineer

Join Rula as a Senior Data Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in enabling analytics teams to leverage AI against internal data in a secure and compliant manner. As an individual contributor, you will partner with various teams to understand their data needs and build the systems that allow AI applications to access trusted data at scale. You will also help define the standards, infrastructure, and governance that power AI-driven experiences across the company. • Collaborer avec les équipes d'analyse, de marketing et de produit pour comprendre leurs besoins en matière de données et construire des systèmes permettant aux applications d'IA d'accéder à des données fiables à grande échelle.

• Experience designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and data platforms
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field, including ownership of production data pipelines and systems
• Experience independently driving projects from design through production deployment and operational support
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and delivering solutions in partnership with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience implementing data security, governance, or access control practices for sensitive data
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with large language models (LLMs), semantic layers, model context protocols (MCPs), or related technologies
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Iceberg, or similar technologies
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Experience working under HIPAA or other regulated environments
• Experience designing data architectures that enable large language models (LLMs) to securely access and reason over enterprise data
• Experience in influencing technical direction, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring other engineers
