About The Role

Join our team as a Community Engagement Intern for Spring 2027. In this role, you will assist in planning, promoting, and executing community events, workshops, and virtual meetups. You will also support the development of content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels, respond to community inquiries, conduct research on community needs and trends, track engagement metrics, and provide general administrative support to the community engagement team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about community building, communications, and social impact.

  • Must be able to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas, Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, California, OR Phoenix, Arizona. Requires transportation (not company provided) and the ability to independently travel to operational sites, events, communities, and partner locations as needed
  • Creative thinker who brings enthusiasm and initiative
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. You must have completed the second year of your undergraduate studies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for community building and social impact
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with social media platforms and/or digital tools for community engagement (e.g., Slack, Facebook Groups)
