Senior Solution Consultant (Technical)

Join Workiva as a Senior Solution Consultant (Technical) and play a key role in advancing sales pursuits and driving revenue attainment. You will be responsible for demonstrating and explaining Workiva solutions, ensuring their success and adoption through tailored demonstrations and technical presentations. You will also stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, execute the technical discovery process with customers, and collaborate with team members to share findings and observations. This position requires at least 6 years of technical customer-facing experience, expertise in data management and analysis, knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, and experience in financial services.

• Advancing sales pursuits and driving revenue attainment by promoting Workiva’s data management capabilities.
• Demonstrating and explaining how Workiva solutions work, ensuring their success and adoption through tailored demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Executing the technical discovery process with customers to identify areas where Workiva solutions align to address customer needs.
• 6 years of technical customer-facing experience, ideally in presales, implementation consulting, or training/enablement
• Experience with data management, database design, and analysis, with expertise in SQL, data modeling, multidimensional concepts (e.g., Essbase, TM1), relational theory, data transformation (e.g., Alteryx), and advanced Excel
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and IT security considerations, GDPR and data privacy regulations, and European cloud security standards
• Hands-on experience with various AI tools and an understanding of concepts like MCP
• Experience in designing and understanding enterprise data architecture to be able to identify where Workiva can extend an organization’s data strategy
• Financial services experience
• Hands on experience with data platforms, ERPs, performance management systems, or BI platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric/Azure, etc)
• Hands-on experience with data integration and data integration software (e.g., Alteryx, FiveTran, MuleSoft)
