Assistant Finance Manager (Legal Entity & Securitisation)

Join our Central Finance team as an Assistant Finance Manager, where you'll play a key role in financial control, reporting, and supporting our Finance Transformation program. You'll have the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and technical expertise, take on genuine ownership and responsibility, and support the development of others while being supported yourself.

• Support the accurate and timely financial control and reporting of assigned Retail Securitisation entities, including the preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate audit deliverables, respond to auditor queries, and support accounts through to clearance, signing, and filing.
• Complete month-end controls, including balance sheet reconciliations, ARCS profiles, journals, and movement analysis, while investigating breaks and data inconsistencies.
• You’ll need to be delivery driven and show a passion for producing quality work at pace
• Strong analytical skills and the passion to contribute to the success of the function are something we'd genuinely want to see in any applicant
• You’ll work in a highly collaborative way to ensure the correct reporting and assist in the analysis and explanation behind the numbers
• Highly organised with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A desire to improve existing processes, systems, and procedures through continuously challenging what we do and how we do it
• You'll be a dedicated finance professional with an accounting qualification, and ideally with financial services sector or statutory reporting experience
• Experience of Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Excel
• A self starter, who is organised and has good attention to detail
• Experience of using Finance Systems and software would be an advantage, or a proven ability to learn new systems in a short timescale, such as Power Apps, Phyton, AI
