About The Role
Join our Data Science team as a Public Health/Epidemiology & Biostatistics Intern. You will contribute to real-world patient studies for clients in the pharmaceutical, medical technology, biotechnology, and medical device industries. Your responsibilities will include study design, data collection, analysis, and report preparation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to internal data and product initiatives. This internship is ideal for final-year engineering students or Master's students specializing in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Participating in the conduct of prospective observational studies, supporting the design of studies and questionnaires, and programming and launching online questionnaires.
- Monitoring fieldwork and response rates, tracking study progress, and coordinating with internal teams to support participant recruitment efforts.
- Processing and analyzing data, including data cleaning and preparation, statistical analysis using R, and contributing to study deliverables.
- Final-year student from a top engineering school, or a Master’s student specializing in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Good knowledge of statistics (descriptive analysis, basic modeling)
- Proficiency in R is required
- Comfortable working with data (data cleaning, manipulation, analysis)
- Fluent in English, with strong written communication skills in both English and French
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or real-world data
