Hardware Project Manager

Join the Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Enterprise Physical Security Organization as a Hardware Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the early scoping, planning, execution, control, and closeout of several small to medium-sized projects. You will work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.

• Plan and execute small to medium-sized hardware projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, track outstanding issues and risks, and provide timely project status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental project teams and technical leaders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is considered a plus
• Experience developing formal project deliverables including reports, charts, status updates, executive summaries, and presentations
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Understanding of software development and dependencies in relation to hardware delivery
• Background in hardware (mechanical, electrical, firmware) design development
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a hardware project or program management role is desirable
• Ability to plan and work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and diverse stakeholders
• A solid understanding of NPI projects and Product Lifecycle Management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to deliver presentations and concise updates to project sponsors and senior management
• Proficient use of issue tracking and wiki based tools where familiarity with Atlassian tools is considered a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
• Proficient use of engineering change management tools such as Agile PLM is considered a plus
