About The Role

Join Trulioo, a leading global identity verification company, as the Corporate Controller. In this senior leadership role, you will be a critical partner to the CFO and own the financial integrity of the business. You will manage the accounting infrastructure, close process, control environment, and compliance posture across a dynamic, multi-entity, multi-national organization. This is not a maintenance role; you will build institutional-grade infrastructure, leverage AI and automation, and operate as a genuine business partner alongside FP&A and the CFO.

  • Ownership of the financial integrity of the business, including the accounting infrastructure, close process, control environment, and compliance posture.
  • Management of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, payroll operations, and global tax compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Strong data and systems literacy: you design chart of accounts structures with an analytical purpose, govern transactional data with precision, and build the accounting layer to support product and segment profitability reporting across a multi-dimensional business
  • Hands-on experience with M&A accounting, including diligence support, purchase price allocation, and post-acquisition integration
  • Genuine, demonstrated use of AI and automation tools in accounting workflows; you're not waiting for this to become mainstream
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale a controls environment with public-company readiness as a long-term objective
  • Ability to partner effectively with FP&A: you understand how the accounting function feeds planning and analysis, and you optimize for that relationship
  • Track record of running a tight, high-quality close process and managing accounting operations across AR, AP, billing, payroll, tax, and treasury
  • Deep experience with multi-entity, multi-national accounting structures, including intercompany, consolidation, and transfer pricing
  • Strong operational instincts: you manage by metrics, track cash cycle performance, and treat accounting as a function that directly supports business outcomes
  • CPA designation and 15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, with meaningful time in high-growth technology businesses. Proficient with US GAAP and working knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience with growth equity-backed companies and familiarity with the reporting and compliance expectations that come with sophisticated investors
  • A builder with the judgment to pace infrastructure investments appropriately: rigorous about what needs to be done now and practical about what can be sequenced
  • Clear, direct communicator who can translate accounting complexity into plain language for business stakeholders and the CFO
  • If you don’t see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed on the posting above, we still encourage you to reach out and apply. Research has shown that minorities and underrepresented groups often only apply when they feel 100% qualified. We are committed to creating a more equitable, inclusive and diverse company and we strongly encourage applicants of all genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations, and life experiences to apply
