About The Role
Role Purpose
This role is responsible for developing, delivering, and continuously improving technical training programs for dealership networks and internal teams, with a strong focus on automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and electrification technologies.
The position serves as a subject matter expert, ensuring technical capability, safety awareness, and service excellence across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
Technical Training Delivery
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate technical training sessions in both classroom and virtual environments.
- Act as a technical authority in advanced automotive diagnostics, fault analysis, system troubleshooting, and repair methodologies.
- Deliver training programs covering conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles while ensuring alignment with quality, performance, and customer service standards.
- Conduct specialized training on Eletric Vehicle architecture, high-voltage systems, Eletric Vehicle safety procedures, and diagnosis and maintenance of electrical components.
Content Development & Continuous Improvement
- Develop, review, and update technical learning materials including presentations, manuals, guides, videos, and digital content.
- Adapt technical content for different audiences, including technicians, service advisors, trainers, and leadership teams.
- Ensure training programs remain aligned with brand standards, industry best practices, and emerging automotive technologies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through learner feedback, training metrics, and evolving business requirements.
Stakeholder Support & Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams and dealer networks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify capability gaps and training priorities.
- Promote safe working practices, particularly in high-voltage and electrified vehicle environments.
- Support knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the organization.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Capability
- Technical diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in advanced automotive diagnostics and fault-finding.
- Previous experience gained within automotive manufacturers, dealerships, technical training organizations, or related environments.
- Experience as a Technical Trainer, Technical Specialist, Field Support Engineer, or equivalent role. Availability to travel as required.
Technical Strength
Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic methodologies. Solid knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle technology, including high-voltage systems and safety procedures. Ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs. Familiarity with manufacturer diagnostic platforms and service tools. Advanced English is desirable.
