About The Role

Contractual Strategy: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements and advise stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Advanced Legal Research & Advisory: Provide legal assessments requested by regional office or local stakeholders from time to time.
Corporate Secretarial Management: Preparation of board resolutions, annual declarations to the Ministry of Commerce, and ensure compliance with the Law on Commercial Enterprises.
Legal Operations & Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for the local legal function.
Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Law or another related field.
Minimum 3- years of experience in legal and compliance roles
Strong understanding of Burmese legal and regulatory frameworks
Review and provide assistance in the preparation and execution of all legal agreements and contracts requested by various divisions within the organization.
Build and maintain a robust legal framework by standardizing agreement types and Service Level Agreements for each agreement category.
Excellent skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and legal agreements under Burmese law.
Strong analytical skills to assess legal and compliance risks and develop effective solutions within the Burmese context.
Fluency in both written and spoken in English
