Afternoon Shift Team Leader

Dimond Roofing is proud to be a trusted name in roofing solutions across New Zealand.
As the Afternoon Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and leading a team of 3 staff members. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Key Resposibilities
Lead, supervise, and support a team of 3 staff members
Promote and enforce strong Health & Safety practices
Ensure staff follow company procedures and safe operating methods
Coordinate workflow and help achieve daily production targets
Conduct truck loading and machinery operations following training
Address issues as they arise and support continuous improvement
Hold professional one-on-one conversations with team members when required
Foster a positive team culture and support staff development
Preferred Skills and Experience
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
Forklift licence
Gantry crane certificate
Full driver's licence
Training can be arranged for the right candidate if these qualifications are not already held (this doesn't include Full driver's licence).
