Liaison Engineer 2

Job Summary Coordinates activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems encountered in the manufacturing facility. Confers with quality control, materials, manufacturing and other department personnel to provide technical support. Investigates reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems to determine nature and scope of problem, and define solutions. Examines, measures, inspects, investigates and tests suspected defective parts for conformance to engineering specifications. Evaluates findings to formulate corrective action plans and coordinate implementation. Serves as member of material review board (MRB) to determine disposition of defective or damaged parts.
