About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer / Tech Lead to join an international team and take ownership of the technical leadership of a squad, ensuring solution quality, development best practices, and continuous architectural improvement. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to the squad, ensuring the adoption and enforcement of development best practices.
  • Ensure the technical design and quality of User Stories, Features, and non-functional requirements.
  • Align squad developments with the target architecture and Design Authority guidelines.
  • Promote code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and reduce technical debt through the definition and implementation of technical enablers and optimization actions.
  • Ensure technical documentation is maintained and up to date according to established standards.
  • Support and mentor team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure proper integration of solutions within CI/CD pipelines and compliance with technical standards.

Your Profile

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, or Technical Project Lead , with at least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in Java (8, 17, or 21), Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and REST API development . Experience with Angular , Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, Tomcat , and development tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and IntelliJ . Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka is highly valued.
  • Experience working in Agile environments , translating technical and functional requirements into scalable solutions, leading development teams, and driving software engineering best practices.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, with excellent communication, stakeholder management, reporting, and collaboration skills.
  • Professional proficiency in French (minimum B2+) and English (minimum B1) .
  • Workplace type:  Hybrid (50% onsite, 50% remote).
  • Location:  Parque das Nações, Lisboa.
