About The Role

As a Care Scheduler, you will play a key role in coordinating our care services. You will be responsible for: 

  • Creating and managing staff rotas and care schedules 
  • Matching carers with clients based on skills, availability and continuity of care 
  • Responding to changes in staffing and arranging suitable cover 
  • Communicating effectively with carers, clients, families and management

  • This role could provide a pathway towards future opportunities such as: 
  • Care Scheduler → Care Coordinator → Senior Care Coordinator → Care Manager 
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and CRM software with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.  
  • Highly resilient and positive with excellent communications skills.  
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure.  
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.  
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.  
  • Logical and analytical with the ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.  

Essential Criteria  

  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside 9-5 Monday to Friday to meet the demands of the business.  
  • Happy to be part of our on call rota Monday - Thursday 1 week in 5
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • A team player who is self-motivated, results driven and resilient.
